The Rocker with Rainn Wilson - See this movie!

Rainn is in a new movie called THE ROCKER in case you haven't heard it opens on Wednesday August 20th.. You have to go see this. The movie looks awesome!

“The Rocker” is Robert “Fish” Fishman, the drummer for an eighties hair band.  He's living the rock n’ roll dream… until he is kicked out of the group.  Twenty years later, the desperate rocker joins his nephew’s band, “A.D.D.,” finally reclaiming the rock-god throne he’s always thought he deserved -- while taking his much younger bandmates along for the ride of their lives

NBC.com showing The Office Webisodes

NBC.com today announced that "The Office" webisodes will go live on Thursday, July 10th at 3pm (ET) on NBC.com. The second series of webisodes for this popular NBC comedy are sponsored by Comcast, Sony Electronics and Priceline. The announcement was made by Vivi Zigler, President, NBC Universal Digital Entertainment.

Rainn Hearts Jay

Rainn Wilson recently appeared on the Tonight show to discuss politics, the Office season finale, and his undying love for Jay Leno. Rainn! You are married with children my man get a grip. And if you are going to break your family up for a dude, I'd hope it'd be with George Clooney rather than Jay Leno. I'd settle for Jimmy Kimmel maybe. Here is the appearance. I love Rainn's suit/old sneakers combo. I'm going to start doing that. If only I could afford the suit portion.

Rainn gave rock'n'roll to us

Rainn Wilson will be starring in "The Rocker" this summer. The film casts him in the lead as an over the hill drummer getting a second chance at fame. Kind of like my dad! Here are some photos from the film. Rainn looks great!

The life and times of a Dwight bobblehead

Here is a set of videos made by fans chronicling the adventures of a Dwight Shrute bobblehead figure. Not to give any spoilers, but he does end up in the hospital at some point. Let's all pray for the DSBH! Also, if you have any videos you made about Dwight or Rainn Wilson, send them my way and if they pass my "strict" quality assurance test, I'll post them.

PS. My quality assurance test consists of me drinking eleven beers and then seeing if I giggle once. I usually do.

Rainn's missing pieces

Rainn Wilson recently starred in a short independent feature called "Missing Pieces." It's a hilarious film about a man so obsessed with getting testicular cancer that he has his, um, balls, removed as a precautionary measure. Hilarity ensues. And here it is! The whole movie! Not just a preview. The whole kit and caboodle. Yeah. You guys owe me big on this one.

Rainn is the next Mr Wizard

Rainn Wilson recently appeared on the PBS show "Wired Science" to teach us about the chemical compounds of several known products. He also tasted pure citric acid and danced the robot. With the strike showing no signs of slowing, he needs all the citric acid and dancing he can get. I could use some too. 

And Chris Hardwick is fine and all but watching him trying to match wits with Rainn made me feel awkward. Don't tell him I said that though. He seems like a nice guy.

My favorite Rainn quote of the video? "I have a citric acid tree." So funny.
